Customer Sales Associate

Marshland Pharmacy is seeking a part-time (18-22 hours/wk) Customer Sales Associate for immediate employment! This position will be mostly daytime hours, with some evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will be key in providing outstanding and reliable service primarily to the Horicon and Doge County community. Dependability and attention to detail is of the utmost importance in this role. This position is essential to the operations of the Pharmacy.

Responsibilities include:

• Meets and greets all customers, assessing their needs and directs customers appropriately
• Provide exceptional customer service both in-person and via phone, answering questions as able, assisting customers in locating products within the store
• Proficient in operating a cash register, accurately processing sales transactions, and ensuring correct change is given. Ensures that all medications leaving the pharmacy are appropriately charged for and co-pays are collected.
• Ordering and receiving products based on sales history
• Able to create appealing product displays
• Provide support to the pharmacy team as needed, hanging prescriptions, answering phone calls, assisting customers with pickups
• Maintains patient confidentiality and is compliant with all HIPAA standards
• Maintaining a positive attitude and contribution to the work environment
• Maintaining a clean work environment. Daily janitorial duties.

Qualifications include:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Accurate typing and computer skills (includes on-line ordering)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Previous retail experience preferred; not required
• High school graduation or equivalent

Working Conditions include:

• Physical requirements: Repetitive use of hands and fingers
• May require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 25 pounds)
• Ability to reach down to the floor and up to higher shelves to retrieve stock and have the manual dexterity to handle small items when needed

Walking and standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) is often necessary.

Job Type: Part-time (18-22 hours per week)

Primarily day shifts with some occasional evenings and Saturday hours required.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
