Job Title: Customer Service Associate Dispatcher
Location: Springdale, AR 72762
Duration: 3 months (contract)
Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday)
Training: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM for at least 3 weeks
Position Summary
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for managing relationships between carriers, customers, and sales groups for assigned accounts. This includes understanding customer needs, processes, and procedures, and partnering with internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective service. The CSA serves as the primary point of contact, resolving issues promptly and providing excellent service throughout the supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact between supply chain operations and assigned external customers
Analyze incoming communications and determine prompt, effective resolutions
Establish and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with key internal and external contacts
Utilize multiple dispatch and external scheduling systems (TES, LME, Four Kites, OTR, Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI, One Network, etc.) to problem-solve across business units
Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and software applications
Develop a thorough understanding of external customer organizations, structures, and requirements
Identify and implement cost-effective, creative solutions to delivery or service issues
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products while representing the company professionally
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in customer service or transportation/logistics
Experience in customer service beyond call center support is required; dispatch experience in transportation/logistics is a plus
Technical Skills
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Ability to manage a high volume of email communications (up to or exceeding 300 daily)
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Conflict management and negotiation skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
