Overview

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include processing transactions, assisting customers with product inquiries, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales.
• Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations and inventory management.

Skills

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory purposes.
• Experience with stock management and maintaining inventory levels is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base.
• Enthusiasm for selling products and providing excellent customer service is essential.
• Familiarity with product demos and engaging customers through demonstrations is beneficial.
