GEDIA North America is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in Dalton, Georgia. This position is a critical link between logistics, customers, suppliers, and internal plant operations. The role serves as the primary point of contact for customer shipments and ensures accurate, timely, and compliant deliveries across pre‑series, series, and service requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customers of GEDIA Georgia, LLC.
- Set up and manage all outbound shipments to customers, including pre‑series, series, and service parts, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
- Coordinate shipments swiftly, accurately, and economically while meeting all customer‑specific requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory and material data in SAP, ensuring system inventory aligns with physical inventory on the floor.
- Label, batch, and inventory product utilizing SAP and shipping systems.
- Manage outbound miscellaneous shipments using UPS, FedEx, or common carriers.
- Perform sending and receiving of product to and from outside processors.
- Conduct daily reviews of customer releases, communicating requirements, drop‑ins, and special needs to key plant managers.
- Create and send schedule agreements (SA) to suppliers.
- Review transactions to identify and resolve errors or incomplete processes.
- Manage and understand customer portals and websites for shipping, labeling, packaging, ratings, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and track inbound shipments of dies, fixtures, and materials.
- Participate in physical inventory counts, including organization, counting, system entry, and verification.
- Support the supply base for products on release or being processed.
- Demonstrate willingness to be cross‑trained and fill gaps as needed.
- Perform additional duties on an as‑needed basis to support logistics and plant operations.
Requirements:
- Sound experience in logistics, production, purchasing, and/or sales processes within the automotive or automotive supply industry.
- Working knowledge of SAP, particularly shipping, inventory, and logistics functions.
- Strong understanding of customer‑specific shipping and compliance requirements.
- Leadership experience across teams or multiple organizational levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and on‑time performance.
- Intercultural competence when working with diverse customers and suppliers.
- German language skills advantageous.
- Willingness to assume full responsibility for assigned functions and take initiative.
- Positive attitude toward learning and performing a wide range of logistics tasks.
