About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service / Dispatcher to support our service operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and helping keep daily operations running smoothly.

This role is responsible for helping manage incoming customer requests, scheduling and dispatching technicians, maintaining account information, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, office staff, and the field team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer calls, emails, and service inquiries
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician dispatching
  • Communicate with customers regarding appointment status, service updates, and follow-up
  • Maintain accurate work orders, customer records, and account information
  • Support account coordination and help build strong customer relationships
  • Assist with invoicing, billing follow-up, and general administrative tasks
  • Work closely with field staff to ensure efficient scheduling and communication
  • Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (College degree preferred)
  • Valid state ID
  • US citizenship
  • Reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, dispatching, office administration, or account coordination preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable using phone systems, email, scheduling software, and standard office programs
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience in a service-based industry such as elevator, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction is a plus

Compensation

  • Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
  • Compensation to be reviewed after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period
