Customer Service Executive

Customer Service Executive – Freight Forwarding (Fresher / 0–1 Year Experience)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive (Fresher / up to 1 year experience) to join our freight forwarding and logistics team. The role involves assisting in shipment coordination, customer communication, documentation support, and ensuring smooth cargo movement under guidance from senior team members.

Key ResponsibilitiesFreight Forwarding Operations (Training-Based Role)

  • Assist in handling import and export shipments (air, sea, and road freight)
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, warehouses, and overseas agents under supervision
  • Support booking processes and cargo movement coordination
  • Track shipment status and update customers regularly
  • Escalate operational issues or delays to senior team members

Customs Clearance Support

  • Assist in preparing basic customs documentation (invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, etc.)
  • Coordinate with customs brokers for document submission
  • Learn and follow customs procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Support follow-up on cargo release and inspections

Customer Service

  • Act as a support point of contact for customers
  • Respond to customer queries professionally
  • Assist in preparing quotations and service responses
  • Maintain positive customer relationships

Documentation & Coordination

  • Prepare and maintain shipment documentation
  • Ensure accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Assist in invoicing coordination and internal cost confirmations
  • Follow company SOPs and operational procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • 0–1 year experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customs (Freshers welcome)
  • Basic understanding of import/export processes (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Willingness to learn customs regulations and documentation
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
