JOB OVERVIEW

The Service Officer is responsible for assisting customers with all aspects of automotive leasing, from initial inquiries to contract completion. This job’s primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, maintain strong relationships with clients, and ensure a smooth leasing process.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients seeking automotive leasing options.
  • Assist customers in understanding the leasing process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and lease terms.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively, both in person and through various communication channels (phone, email, etc.).
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customers' preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
  • Present and explain available vehicle leasing options to customers, highlighting features, benefits, and pricing details.
  • Collaborate with finance and sales departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of lease applications and contracts.
  • Conduct credit checks and review financial information to assess customers' eligibility for leasing.
  • Negotiate lease terms and conditions, including pricing, mileage limits, and maintenance packages, while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • Prepare leasing contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate vehicle delivery and explain lease terms and vehicle features to customers upon delivery.
  • Address customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively, striving to resolve them in a satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive leasing trends, industry regulations, and competitive offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing ongoing support and fostering customer loyalty
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote leasing services through various channels, such as social media, events, and advertisements.
  • Assist in organising and conducting leasing events and promotions to generate leads and increase leasing portfolio.
  • Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
  • Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.


REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 1-3 years working experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in customer service or sales roles, preferably within the automotive industry
