Job purpose -
Primarily responsible for Secondary Transportation & Warehousing (2 - 3 depots depending upon geography). Driving cost efficiencies along with customer satisfaction.

Key Job Responsibilities -

Secondary Freight Management :
Responsible for Managing Secondary Transportation, i.e. Depotto Distributors
 Ensure on time execution in full
 Need to ensure transportation cost by monitoring Vehicle Utilization on daily basis and driving max utilization across locations.
 Driving Performance metrics e.g. Indent Vs Placement, Truck Utilization,Vehicle upsizing, Transit Time Adherence, Shortage/ Damages Index etc.

Warehouse Management & Customer Service :
 Managing multiple depot locations
 Ensure daily executions of orders and unloading of primary vehicles
 Implement new processes and systems in depots – for automation and modernization
 Warehouse Cost Management
 Labor efficiencies/productivities at depots
 Ensure freshness of stocks by following FEFO and early liquidation
 Execute Depot as per SOPs and put in controls to ensure compliance
 Ensure Depot Compliance - Depot Audits.
 Ensure Safety and Hygiene at depots.

Others :
 Knowledge in SAP and MS Office
 Vendor Management experience
 Coordination with other stake holders like Sales, Finance, Audit etc.
 Open to relocation.

Education Qualification - Graduation/ Post Graduation in Management / Supply chain.

Experience (in years) - At least 5 years’ experience in logistics from FMCG industry and in case of MBA from good management school the lesser work experience is acceptable.
