Responsible for answering incoming calls to Nebraska Public Media, routing calls, and answering general questions. Process check and credit card transactions for membership department, sales transactions, and web transactions. Responsible for additional support duties as assigned.
Typical schedule will be:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 12:30pm-4:30pm
Tuesday/Thursday: 8:30am-12:30pm

- High school degree or equivalent and one (1) year of office support experience.
- Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience working in an environment with considerable interaction with public/customers.
- Working knowledge of general office practices.
- Skill utilizing word processing and data entry software.
- Excellent proof-reading skills, good attention to detail, and demonstrated effective communication skills.
- Ability to interact with a variety of individuals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business, office technology, office administration or related field.
- Familiarity with accounting practices as they relate to data entry.
- Cash handling skills.
