Customer Service Representative

Job Overview

We’re looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at The Root Agency – Allstate. This isn’t a call center job. It's a people-first role focused on building relationships with existing customers, supporting their insurance needs, and making sure they feel well taken care of at every step.

You’ll play an essential part in our agency by handling day-to-day client service tasks, helping with billing or policy changes, and being a trusted point of contact for our policyholders. If you're organized, a good communicator, and enjoy helping people, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and text in a professional, timely manner
• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and billing requests
• Educate customers on coverage options, renewals, and available discounts
• Maintain accurate notes and documentation in our agency system
• Follow up on renewal opportunities and help retain business
• Collaborate with the sales team to support cross-selling efforts
• Deliver exceptional service that builds long-term client loyalty

What You Need

• Property & Casualty license required
• Previous insurance, banking, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using technology, including CRM systems and agency tools
• A positive attitude and a team-first mindset

Pay: $35,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
