Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing customer interactions, ensuring smooth order processing, and providing exceptional support for a variety of manufacturing products. Candidates should bring strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to effectively collaborate with sales teams and customers.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with internal teams to request and manage quotes efficiently.
• Provide accurate and timely information to intake and quote teams, addressing any inquiries.
• Collaborate with the sales team and customers during project planning stages, including participation in kickoff meetings.
• Oversee customer order management processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Process payments or deposits as required and handle ticket picking within established timeframes.
• Upload order data to customer portals and maintain updated records on shared drives.
• Monitor open order reports and update shipping dates in relevant systems when necessary.
• Communicate lead time or shipping date changes to customers and sales representatives.
• Conduct stock checks and provide shipping notifications for direct-ship orders.
• Address post-order management tasks, including processing specific customer requests.
• Proven experience in customer service, ideally within a call center or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in order entry and handling inbound and outbound calls.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Office 365 applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and customers.
• Knowledge of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) processes.
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of customer program details for diverse accounts, including national and international clients.
