Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in McCook, Illinois. In this role, you will handle incoming customer inquiries related to waste and garbage collection services, ensuring each interaction is addressed with attention to detail and care. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of inbound calls daily, addressing customer concerns related to garbage collection services.

• Deliver accurate information and solutions to customers while maintaining a positive and detail-oriented demeanor.

• Resolve service-related issues promptly using effective problem-solving techniques.

• Document customer interactions thoroughly and maintain organized records.

• Collaborate with team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.

• Handle inquiries in a busy and often noisy environment, maintaining focus and attention to detail.

• Prioritize tasks effectively to manage multiple responsibilities and competing deadlines.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries with patience and understanding.

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center setting, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal explanations.
• Ability to stay calm and detail oriented when working under pressure.
• Proven ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to fast-changing situations.
• Independent worker who can also thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with handling inbound and outbound calls is an advantage.
• Proficiency in order entry and managing customer interactions effectively.
