Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a contract to hire Customer Service Representative for a residential and light commercial HVAC service provider in Saint Petersburg, FL . This role will serve as the first point of contact for customers, managing inbound calls, documenting service needs, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish.

Job Logistics

Shifts / Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Saint Petersburg, FL (On-Site)

Contract: 6-9 month contract to hire

Tools / Tech: Phone systems, service scheduling tools

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer and manage all inbound customer calls
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residential and commercial customers
• Collect and document customer and service request details
• Coordinate service calls and escalate issues when necessary
• Maintain a consistent customer‑first experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 to 5 years of customer service experience
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or skilled trade environments
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Customer‑focused approach

Plusses:

• Dispatching or call center experience
• Experience handling high call volumes

Compensation

Compensation: $18/hr - $23/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
