Job Overview

A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning, a leading Oklahoma-based HVAC contractor with over 40 years of trusted service, is seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team. Based in our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States office, this is a full-time position that serves as the first point of contact for our valued customers. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in upholding our reputation for excellence by providing exceptional support and ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial contact to job completion.

Responsibilities

 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls, emails, and enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Schedule service appointments, installations, and maintenance visits for our team of certified technicians.
  • Provide accurate information to clients regarding our full range of services, including central air conditioning units, ductless mini-splits, and indoor air quality systems.
  • Efficiently resolve customer issues and complaints, demonstrating empathy and strong problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update customer records with precision in our company database.
  • Liaise effectively with the technical team to coordinate schedules and ensure efficient service delivery across the region.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the office.

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer service, administration, or a call centre environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to multitask effectively in a busy, fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a high level of computer literacy; experience with scheduling software is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer care.
  • Experience within the HVAC or a related trade industry is advantageous but not essential.
