Are you a highly organized, people-person with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We're a growing local plumbing company looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative & Dispatcher. This role is the backbone of our operations, serving as the first point of contact for our customers and the key coordinator for our field technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceptional Customer Service: Answer inbound calls, emails, and texts with a professional, cheerful demeanor. Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing unmatched service, resolving inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Technician & Job Scheduling: Efficiently dispatch service technicians to job sites, manage their schedules, and optimize routes to maximize productivity.
  • Administrative & Organizational Support: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions, service requests, and transactions in our customer management system.
  • Billing & Accounting Support (Plus): Assist with office administration tasks, with a preference for candidates who can help with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident and empathetic phone presence.
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with service industry scheduling or CRM software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A strong willingness to learn new skills and grow with the company.

Preferred Experience (Great to Have!)

  • Previous experience in a dispatch or field service coordination role.
  • Background or experience in marketing or sales, with a readiness to assist with internal marketing efforts to help promote our services and improve customer loyalty.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or general accounts payable/receivable.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
