Job Summary – Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher

We are seeking a reliable and professional Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to join our plumbing company. This role is responsible for handling incoming calls, scheduling service appointments, and coordinating technicians to ensure efficient daily operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Schedule plumbing service appointments and coordinate daily technician routes
  • Dispatch technicians to service calls and provide accurate job details
  • Prioritize emergency service calls when necessary
  • Communicate with technicians throughout the day regarding job updates and scheduling changes
  • Provide customers with appointment confirmations, updates, and estimated arrival times
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, appointments, and customer information
  • Process service requests and update job status in the company system
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks related to scheduling and service coordination
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through clear communication and problem-solving

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling/dispatch software
  • Professional attitude and reliability
  • Previous customer service or dispatch experience preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
