Job Title: Customer Support Executive – Freight Forwarding
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 1 – 2 Years
Role Summary:
We are looking for a Customer Support Executive with 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping operations. The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, strong knowledge of shipping documentation and processes, and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day customer interactions and provide timely updates on shipment status.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, documentation, and accounts) to ensure smooth shipment movement.
- Manage documentation related to export and import shipments (BL, Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Orders, etc.).
- Communicate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Resolve customer queries promptly and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure all data and records are accurately maintained in the system.
- Support the sales and operations team with post-booking customer service.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics / shipping.
- Good understanding of shipping terms (INCOTERMS, documentation, export/import process).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong coordination and multitasking ability.
- Positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
