Customer Support Specialist for Kirby Ventures

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Schedule: 40 hours per week (8am-5pm EST, Monday-Friday)

COMPENSATION

On Target Earnings: ~$50,000+

Hourly Rate: $16.00 per hour

Bonus Incentive: You will be eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to sales, service scheduling, and customer satisfaction metrics. Details of the Inside Sales Performance Incentive outlined below.

Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state laws.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re the kind of person who thrives on connecting with people and getting things done. You enjoy being on the phone, writing professional emails, and managing multiple customer conversations at once — whether by text, call, or CRM. You take pride in staying organized and following through, knowing that consistent communication builds trust and drives results.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years of professional sales experience, ideally in a home services or residential setting.
  • Is comfortable making outbound calls — both cold and warm — and confident in turning leads into happy customers.
  • Communicates clearly and naturally across phone, email, and SMS, adapting tone and approach to each situation.
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented, keeping CRM notes, quotes, and follow-ups up to date daily.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
  • Brings a positive attitude, persistence, and professionalism to every customer interaction.
  • Is driven by results and motivated by the opportunity to earn more through performance-based bonuses.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Proactively engage with inbound leads via phone, email, and CRM to accurately quote prospects and schedule services and assessments.
  • Present product/service value and handle objections through consultative conversations that educate customers and drive conversions, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and collaborate with technicians, operations, and marketing to improve lead quality, sales processes, and customer experience.
  • Provide customer support for existing customers through strong relationship management skills.

The Performance Incentive reflects the execution of the responsibilities outlined above. Schedule services, ensure customer satisfaction, and earn an uncapped bonus.

Workplace

This role is remote-first and results-driven. You can work from home — or anywhere that inspires you — most of the time. You must be able to meet in person once per week for a company all hands meeting in Wake Forest, NC.
