Customer Training Specialist

The Customer Training Specialist position will be responsible for training new retailers on site and in a training room setting. This position will troubleshoot problems over the telephone and/or travel to customer sites for installation or repair of equipment. Travel will be a requirement for this position and may include overnight trips. This position reports to Training and Certification Manager.

$1,000 Sign on Bonus

II. Responsibilities/Essential Functions

- Provide initial training for all new retailer locations in training room setting and at retailer location

- Perform retailer terminal installations

- Provide certification assistance to lottery personnel

- Provide training program feedback

- Provide training assistance to all SGI Field Personnel

- Provide feedback on all field related issues and tasks

- Provide liaison services to lottery Area Offices and key lottery personnel

- Provide technical services to lottery retailers up to and including installation of lottery equipment

- Provide technical assistance to SGI facilities

- Provide preventative maintenance to terminals at lottery retailers

- Provide consumables (ie playslips, training materials etc) to lottery retailers

- Maintain a driving record in accordance with corporate policy

- Properly maintain a company vehicle including regular maintenance and general organization

III. Position Requirements/Skills & Abilities

- Must have strong communication, group presentation and interpersonal skills.

- Training Experience or talking in front of groups of 5-10 people is a plus!

- Ability to convey thoughts, ideas and training materials to all participants.

- Bilingual a plus

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.

- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.

- Intermediate computer software and hardware technologies.

- Ability to compile and analyze statistical information.

- Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.25 per hour
