
CUSTOMS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Description
- Determination of the target customers
- Creation of new business environments with the target customers
- Managing the development and maintaining the continuity in the sector
- Coordinating the relevant units of DHL for potential businesses
- Preparation of the contracts with the customers, with whom an agreement on the new business is reached
- Providing the market research and information on the basis of managed customers, rivals and sector,
- Creating and coordinating responses/offers for customers,
- Developing cost & pricing in the new business,
- Building and coordinating a work group for new businesses,
- Preparing presentations that will add 'value' to the customers and presenting these,
- Ensuring the quality of the documents delivered to the customers,
- Determining the needs of the customers and business model,
- Making consistent and effective commercial agreements,
- Building reliable, honest and long term relationships with the customers,
- Directing the customer to the right solution,
- Works in line with DHL rules and standards, (ISO 9001, ISO 27001 & 22301)
Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree of university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Customs and Foreign Trade Sector
- Customs Brokerage/Assistance Certificate (minimum 10 years of experience in Customs and Foreign Trade Sector in case no certificate)
- Experienced in contract negotiation with service suppliers and customers with high profits
- Knowledge about sector customer trends and expectations
- Advanced level of English (Written & Spoken)
- A good level knowledge of Customs Software (Evrim) and MS Office applications
- Strong communication and customer management skills with a solution oriented mindset
- A very goog team player with strong coordination skills
- Active driver with a type B license
- No military service obligation (for maile candidates)
