Job Title: Executive – Supply Chain (Customs)

Location: Riyadh, KSA

Reporting to: Manager – Supply Chain

Job Description:

  • Verify shipping and customs documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, SASO/SABER, HS Codes, etc.).
  • Authorizations to the broker for import and export at the borders through FASAH systems and SABER issues.
  • Manage duty/tax payments and clearance fees in coordination with finance.
  • Ensure timely clearance to avoid demurrage and storage charges.
  • Stay updated with Saudi import laws, HS codes, VAT/GST rules, and customs duty structures.
  • Ensure compliance with GAC (ZATCA) and other government authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import & export transactions for audit purposes.
  • Work closely with procurement, supply chain, and warehouse teams to align on inbound planning.
  • Support business units by providing landed cost analysis and duty impact.
  • Manage escalations with customs authorities and support problem resolution.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on clearance timelines, costs, and exceptions.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and propose cost/time-saving initiatives.
  • Support digital transformation and system automation for customs processes.


Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
  • Arabic proficiency preferred; English fluency required.
  • 3–6 years of experience in import customs clearance in KSA (retail, FMCG, or logistics).
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Customs (ZATCA/FASAH portal) and related regulations.
  • Experience handling SABER/SASO certification, SFDA clearance, and HS Code classification.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with external agencies.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP/WMS systems (Oracle, SAP, Infor, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
