ABOUT THE ROLE:

You’ll be part of a global leader in cyber intelligence and digital forensics, helping organizations around the world build resilient Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and Cyber Defense Centers (CDCs).

This is more than a consulting role, it’s your opportunity to shape modern cyber defense capabilities using cutting-edge frameworks, intelligence-driven insights, and hands-on expertise. You’ll work with top-tier enterprises, collaborate with world-class threat hunters, and contribute to global cybersecurity innovation through workshops, conferences, and service development.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

• Proven experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or implementing security solutions.
• Deep understanding of SOC architectures, workflows, and operational processes.
• Solid grasp of network, endpoint, and server infrastructures in large-scale environments.
• In-depth knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and incident management.
• Strong expertise in at least two cybersecurity domains:
• Log Management / SIEM
• Incident Detection & Response
• Threat Intelligence
• Cloud Security
• Security Architecture or Engineering
• Anti-Fraud Systems
• Security Assessments or Audits
• Experience in creating
• Security policies, processes, and procedures
• Familiarity with leading frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK,
• SOC-CMM, NIST, or *ISO*.
• Experience conducting: security audits, assessments, or SOC maturity evaluations.
• Background in: project leadership or acting as a security consultant/architect.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, you’ll be working directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally for client engagements, training, and events.
• A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex cyber defense challenges.
• Commitment to continuous learning and innovation in security operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional teams within a fast-paced global environment.

YOUR MISSION

• Deliver and adapt
• Group-IB’s SOC Framework to design, assess, and enhance clients’ SOC and CDC capabilities.
• Lead complex consulting engagements, from SOC maturity assessments to full-scale cyber defense transformations.
• Implement and optimize SOC processes, playbooks, and operational models that elevate clients’ detection and response efficiency.
• Partner with client teams to ensure projects are executed on time and deliver measurable value.
• Develop professional reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations based on SOC development findings.
• Conduct TTX workshops and training sessions, empowering client SOC teams with knowledge and practical tools.
• Engage actively with clients throughout the engagement lifecycle, ensuring exceptional delivery and satisfaction.
• Support pre-sales and proposal efforts, contribute to webinars and industry events, and help promote Group-IB’s SOC services worldwide.
• Collaborate closely with Threat Intelligence, DFIR, and Red Team experts to deliver holistic security solutions.
