Cyber Network Specialist

Position Title: Cyber Network Specialist

Location: Project-based (Client Site – Honeywell / Saudi Aramco Projects)

Job Purpose

The Cyber Network Specialist will be deputed to Honeywell to deliver network and cybersecurity engineering services for industrial automation projects. The role involves engineering, design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of network systems in full compliance with Honeywell standards and Saudi Aramco requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design

• Perform detailed site surveys covering network infrastructure, equipment rooms, cabling routes, and field devices.
• Prepare comprehensive site survey reports including observations, gaps, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
• Develop engineering documentation aligned with Saudi Aramco standards, specifications, and project procedures.
• Prepare Functional Design Specifications (FDS) defining system architecture, network topology, functional requirements, and system integration points.
• Develop Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), including:
• Network architecture diagrams
• IP addressing and subnet allocation plans
• VLAN segmentation and tagging schemes
• Firewall rule sets and routing tables
• Switch, router, and firewall configuration details
• Compliance with Honeywell Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE) design standards

Project Execution & Coordination

• Closely coordinate with the Honeywell project lead and engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Prepare and validate the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Develop Method of Statement (MOS) for network installation, testing, and commissioning, including safety and quality procedures.
• Prepare Technical Queries (TQs) to address missing, unclear, or conflicting project information.

Configuration, Testing & Commissioning

• Configure firewalls, routers, switches, and other network equipment as per approved designs.
• Validate configurations to ensure compliance with Honeywell FTE standards and cybersecurity requirements.
• Support and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at DTV and customer locations.
• Ensure all test results meet contractual and project requirements.
• Support online site execution and commissioning activities in coordination with customers and project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in network engineering and cybersecurity, preferably in industrial or automation environments.
• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) certification.
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.

Job Types: Temporary, Contract

Pay: ﷼10,000.00 - ﷼20,000.00 per month
