Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will help protect our systems, websites, and client applications by monitoring for threats, investigating incidents, and ensuring strong security practices across all environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor networks, websites, and applications for suspicious activity or security breaches.

* Investigate and respond to security incidents, malware infections, and downtime.

* Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests (including web apps, WordPress, WooCommerce, APIs, and client sites).

* Implement and maintain security tools (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, web application firewalls, etc.).

* Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS where applicable).

* Provide security guidance to developers and project teams** during website/application development.

* Manage SSL/TLS, backups, user access policies, and audit logs.

* Prepare monthly and quarterly security reports for internal and client sites.

* Stay updated with the latest cyber threats, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

* 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or application/web security.

* Knowledge of firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and **web application firewalls (WAFs).

* Familiarity with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS).

* Strong understanding of **WordPress/WooCommerce, PHP, and common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).

* Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS, Burp Suite, WPScan).

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills.

* Relevant certifications (CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, OSCP) are a plus.
