Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. This entry-level role is designed for individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to assist clients in identifying, managing, and mitigating security risks. The Junior Cybersecurity Consultant will support in delivering comprehensive security assessments, solutions, and recommendations to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting initial client assessments to understand their cybersecurity needs and objectives.
• Support the development of client-specific cybersecurity strategies and solutions.
• Develop implementation plans for customer newly acquired security solutions.
• Deploy, configure, integrate, and test security solutions within the customer environment.
• Help ensure client compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.
• Deliver knowledge transfer workshops, trainings, and health check reviews related to specific customer security solutions.
• Prepare detailed documentation of design (both high level and low level designs), as-built documents, operational guides, and reports.
• Support the development of training materials and resources.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging threats to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker) are a plus.
• 0-2 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within IT or cybersecurity consulting.
• Internships or academic projects related to cybersecurity are beneficial.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools.
• Familiarity with network security, application security, and common vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• English language fluency. French language is a plus.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to travel across the region to client sites and for training purposes as required.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining client trust.
