IT Governance Officer

Job Description:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define policies for areas such as information security, data privacy, IT procurement, change management, and incident response. Ensure policies are comprehensive, practical, and communicated effectively
  • Develop templates, checklists, and best practice documents to assist IT teams in adhering to standards.
  • Develop communication strategies and materials to promote awareness and understanding of IT policies and standards across the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to identify non-compliance areas, gaps, and potential risks.
  • Work closely with incident management and problem management teams to analyze performance-related incidents and problems, identify root causes, contribute to resolution efforts, and implement preventive measures to minimize recurrence. Coordinate post-incident reviews and lessons learned activities
  • Facilitate initiatives to continuously improve IT performance and service delivery. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to performance management.
  • Job Specification:

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, business administration or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
    • +1 Years experience in IT risk management or a related role
    • Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT, ITIL, or ISO 38500
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to IT governance, risk management, and compliance
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
