Cyber Security Manager

Compensation Range: 160k - 180k base salary



We are seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Cyber Security Manager to lead our organization’s security strategy, governance framework, and overall cyber defense posture. This role is ideal for a seasoned cybersecurity leader who excels at strategy building, cross‑functional collaboration, and guiding a high‑performing team to stay ahead of evolving threats.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a robust cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Establish a scalable cybersecurity governance framework.


Risk & Compliance

  • Lead risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and prioritize mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
  • Drive readiness and compliance development efforts for CMMC.


Team & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
  • Partner with IT, business units, and leadership to embed security into systems and processes.


Monitoring, Reporting & Policy Development

  • Implement continuous security monitoring and deliver regular cybersecurity performance reports.
  • Develop, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Lead ongoing cyber awareness training and maintain strong organizational security hygiene.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in information security covering risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations.
  • Strong familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
  • Hands‑on experience with tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Experience managing third‑party vendors and cloud service providers (AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics for non‑technical audiences.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
