Cyber Security Specialist for Qatar

We are looking for Cyber Security Specialist for Qatar location.

Develop and implement security architecture and design that aligns with industry’s best

practices and organizational requirements.

• Regularly review and update the security architecture to address emerging threats and

vulnerabilities.

• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR,

HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and

evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures.

• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to address

emerging threats and organizational changes.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures across the organization.

• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees to promote a

culture of security.

• Conduct simulated phishing attacks and social engineering exercises to assess and

improve employee awareness.

• Perform detailed investigations of security incidents to determine the root cause and

impact.

• Conduct forensic analysis to gather and preserve evidence in case of security

breaches.

• Evaluate and manage third-party vendors and their security posture to ensure they

meet organizational standards.

• Work closely with IT, development, and other departments to integrate security

measures into their processes and systems.

• Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the National Cyber

Security Agency (NCSA)

• Evaluate, deploy, and manage security tools and technologies, such as firewalls,

intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.

• Ensure integration of security tools with existing systems and workflows.

• Develop and track security metrics to measure the effectiveness of security measures

and identify areas for improvement.

• Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and apply this

knowledge to enhance the organization's security posture.

• Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal

disruption in the event of a security incident.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of security configurations, incident

responses, and security policies.

• Share knowledge and best practices with team members and other relevant

stakeholders.

• Design, implement, manage, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the

organization’s data, systems, and networks.

• Respond to and manage all system and network security breaches, including

conducting detailed investigations and forensic analysis.

• Test, identify, and address network and system vulnerabilities through regular scans,

penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.

• Develop and maintain security architecture and policies to align with industry best

practices and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and

standards.

• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs and conduct simulated

phishing and social engineering exercises.

• Evaluate, deploy, and manage security tools and technologies, ensuring their

effective integration into the organization’s infrastructure.

• Participate in the change management process and work collaboratively with other

departments and third-party vendors.

•Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Ensure

thorough documentation of security measures, incidents, and policies.

Required Skills for Employees

At least 8 years’ experience as cyber security specialist, Having some of the following certificates:

• CISSP Certification – Certified Information Systems Security Professional

• Certified Cloud Security Professional – CCSP

• Certified Information Systems Auditor – CISA

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

• EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA)

• Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)

• GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)

• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR23,000.00 per month
