Education & Qualifications
- Required: Graduate Degree or 3-Year Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, Cybersecurity, or Electronics.
Experience
- Required: Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Chemical facilities with a focus on ICS/OT Cybersecurity.
- Preferred: 5+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Chemical facilities specializing in ICS/OT Cybersecurity.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- CCNA / Network+ certification.
- CEH, Security+, CySA+, or equivalent cybersecurity certification. (At least one recognized cybersecurity certification is desirable).
- Experience in Oil & Gas or chemical manufacturing environments.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance (PM & CM) for OT assets.
- Apply patches and antivirus updates for installed OT systems.
- Manage backup and recovery processes for OT assets including DCS, SIS, and ICS.
- Collect field asset data for DCS & Non-DCS systems related to projects.
- Verify, update, and confirm mark-ups and as-built documentation.
- Execute cybersecurity fieldwork activities for DCS, SIS & ICS, including:
- ICS cabinet lock maintenance across all RIE’s.
- Troubleshooting and replacement of network and power cables.
- Housekeeping of field assets and disposal of waste material.
- Installation, replacement, and preparation of cybersecurity hardware and spares.
- Labeling, printing, and attaching network cable identifiers.
- Power cable installation in cabinets for firewalls, servers, and switches.
- Laying communication cables for KVM setups, monitors, and stations.
- Collect and verify as-built nameplate data for OT assets.
- Prepare and process Permit-to-Work (PTW) for all field-related tasks.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for non-DCS assets (e.g., laptops) to implement cybersecurity measures such as AV installation, physical hardening, and patching.
- Support physical security controls including device hardening and USB lock implementation.
- Assist with user access control validation in the field.
- Perform day-to-day preventive maintenance tasks related to fieldwork.
- Support the collection and validation of ICS field asset logs.
Work Environment
- This is a hands-on role with considerable fieldwork requirements.
- Work is carried out in a 24/7 industrial Petrochemical manufacturing environment.
