About the Role

OpenKyber is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to help protect systems, networks, and sensitive data from cyber threats. This role involves monitoring security systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting incident response. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents
• Perform vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing support
• Analyze logs and identify suspicious activities
• Assist in implementing security controls and policies
• Support risk assessment and compliance activities
• Maintain security documentation and reports
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system security

Required Qualifications

• 1 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security
• Basic knowledge of network security concepts
• Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, firewalls, antivirus)
• Understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python or Bash is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
