At Hitachi Energy, we’re looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst (Product Security Engineer) to join our mission of building secure, resilient, and future-ready software solutions. How You’ll Make an Impact
Conduct in-depth cybersecurity research and penetration testing
Analyze product security controls and recommend improvements
Develop and implement solutions to address vulnerabilities
Collaborate with R&D to embed security into the development lifecycle
Track and report on security metrics and compliance
Lead internal awareness and training programs on cybersecurity
Stay current with global cybersecurity trends, tools, and regulations
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing, or product security
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C#, or C++
Familiarity with tools like MetaDefender, Metasploit, and Burp Suite
Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, exploits, and secure development practices
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
