Cybersecurity Intern

Support TriForza as a Cybersecurity Intern and gain hands on experience in cybersecurity risk management, endpoint security, and vulnerability reporting. You will work on real projects that strengthen endpoint security controls, improve vulnerability visibility, and support the organization’s evolving approach to secure AI adoption, while developing key professional skills in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

This non-exempt internship pays an hourly rate of $28.00 and is full-time (40 hours per week). Interns are expected to work during our standard business hours, which are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Interns are typically required to work onsite at our Seattle office every Tuesday, with the option for remote work on other days based on departmental needs.

  • Review and analyze current endpoint security configurations within Microsoft Intune, including device compliance policies, conditional access alignment, and overall device coverage.
  • Identify gaps in endpoint compliance, vulnerability reporting, and security control enforcement, and support the development of baseline configurations and standardized policies.
  • Develop documentation and reporting frameworks that improve visibility into device compliance posture and vulnerability findings across endpoint, infrastructure, application, and cloud environments.
  • Support the design of unified security reporting and risk management practices, including mapping controls to frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001 and evaluating endpoint readiness for secure AI tool adoption.

The experience, skills, and education needed to succeed in the position are outlined below. These requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.

  • Currently pursuing an associates, bachelors, or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Knowledge of endpoint security and device management concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, or conditional access policies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management concepts such as CVSS scoring and remediation SLAs is a plus.
  • Experience using Power BI, Excel, or light scripting to support analysis or reporting is a plus.
  • Displays a high level of accountability by effectively managing tasks independently, meeting goals, and delivering high-quality work while staying dedicated to team objectives.
