Cybersecurity & IT Solutions Manager

About the Role:
The Manager – Cybersecurity & AI Solutions will lead the full lifecycle of establishing the company’s IT operations and cybersecurity framework. This includes strategizing, designing, and implementing AI-driven solutions, managing IT infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and delivering end-to-end consultancy services. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and operational experience in IT and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Cybersecurity Oversight

• Define and execute the company’s cybersecurity and IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Implement robust security frameworks, governance policies, and risk management procedures.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, including Qatar data privacy laws and international cybersecurity standards.
• Advise leadership on emerging threats, mitigation strategies, and industry trends.

2. AI & Technology Solutions Management

• Lead AI consultancy projects, including solution design, implementation, and optimization.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI technologies into company operations and client solutions.
• Conduct feasibility analysis, proof-of-concept (POC), and pilot AI projects.

3. IT Operations & Company Establishment

• Establish IT infrastructure, facilities management processes, and operational workflows from scratch.
• Procure, deploy, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
• Develop IT policies, SOPs, and maintenance protocols.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems.

4. Team Management & Development

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT and cybersecurity team.
• Define KPIs, performance metrics, and professional development plans.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and cybersecurity awareness.

5. Client & Project Management

• Engage with clients to assess IT and AI needs, providing expert consultancy and recommendations.
• Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Deliver technical presentations, proposals, and solution documentation to clients and stakeholders.

6. Research & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor technological advancements in AI, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement innovative tools, processes, and security measures.
• Ensure adoption of industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 7–12 years of proven experience in IT management, cybersecurity, or AI consultancy, preferably with managerial responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience in establishing IT/cybersecurity operations and company IT infrastructure from scratch.
• Strong expertise in AI applications, cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment, IT governance, and computer facilities management.
• Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, PMP, AI/ML certifications, ITIL.
• Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, project management, and resource allocation.
• Proven leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication, client engagement, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Qatar IT regulations, cybersecurity laws, and compliance standards is a plus.
• Innovation-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing end-to-end processes in establishing company operations.
