We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex cybersecurity initiatives across our organization. <Duties>

• Lead end-to-end cybersecurity projects by defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in accordance with project management best practices such as PMBOK and SDLC.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams using Agile, SAFe, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage project schedules utilizing tools like Microsoft Project, Visio, VersionOne, Jira, and SharePoint to track progress and mitigate risks proactively.
• Gather requirements through detailed analysis skills and requirements gathering techniques to develop comprehensive project plans that meet organizational needs.
• Oversee the development and testing of security solutions, including user acceptance testing (UAT), test cases creation, test-driven development practices, and release management.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to integrate cloud computing platforms such as AWS and ensure disaster recovery strategies are in place.
• Monitor project performance metrics related to time management, budget adherence, and quality standards while communicating progress effectively to stakeholders.
• Facilitate project implementation by coordinating with software development teams on enterprise software deployment, database management (SQL, Oracle), and IT governance compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments related to cybersecurity threats and implement mitigation strategies aligned with industry standards like PMBOK.
• Lead program management efforts for large-scale initiatives involving multiple projects; ensure consistency in project management methodology across teams.

<Qualifications>

• Proven experience managing cybersecurity projects within enterprise environments using project management methodologies such as PMBOK or SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS along with experience in IT infrastructure integration.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (SAFe), Kanban, Waterfall approaches, and tools such as Jira, VersionOne, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, analysis skills, user acceptance testing (UAT), test case development, and release management processes.
• Hands-on experience with databases including SQL and Oracle; understanding of disaster recovery planning is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills combined with leadership qualities to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on deliverables.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement across technical teams and executive leadership.
• Knowledge of IT governance standards related to cybersecurity best practices; familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices is essential.
