Job Summary:

Zainlee Technologies is seeking a proactive and skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to protect our digital assets, infrastructure, and customer data. You will play a key role in monitoring, assessing, and enhancing the security posture of the company through implementation of best practices, threat prevention, and incident response.

This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cybersecurity, risk management, and building secure systems in a fast-paced tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network activity for potential threats using SIEM and endpoint protection tools.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing regularly.
• Investigate and respond to security breaches, incidents, and alerts.
• Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, and access controls across systems and platforms.
• Support data loss prevention (DLP), encryption, and backup strategies.
• Provide security awareness training to internal teams.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to ensure secure coding and system hardening.
• Keep up with evolving cyber threats and propose mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, or similar.
• Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with SIEM systems, identity & access management (IAM), and multifactor authentication (MFA).

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):

• CompTIA Security+
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• CISM / CISA
• Microsoft/AWS/Azure Security certifications
