Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our technical team. This role is designed for a technical expert who excels at the hands-on configuration and deployment of enterprise security solutions while serving as a vital bridge between our organization, our clients, and industry bodies.

The ideal candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of cybersecurity software implementation, ensuring that internal and external networks remain resilient against evolving global threats.

Responsibilities

• Software Implementation & Configuration: Lead the end-to-end technical deployment of cybersecurity software. This includes installing, configuring, and fine-tuning security tools (e.g., DLP, Endpoint Protection, and Threat Intelligence platforms) to meet specific organizational needs.
• Customer Liaison & Project Delivery: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers during the implementation phase. You will translate complex technical requirements into actionable deployment plans and ensure that the software delivers maximum value to the client.
• Industry Standards Compliance: Liaise with cybersecurity industry bodies and regulatory agencies to ensure all implementations align with the latest global security standards and local compliance requirements.
• Security Auditing: Proactively identify security violations and system inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Infrastructure Upgrades: Strategize and execute upgrades to network and infrastructure systems to patch vulnerabilities and improve overall defense posture.
• Incident Management: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve both potential and active security breaches.
• Reporting & Communication: Maintain transparency with users and stakeholders by preparing detailed performance reports and providing real-time system status updates.

Requirements and Skills

Technical Expertise: Proven experience in the manual configuration and implementation of cybersecurity software suites.

Communication Skills: Strong ability to liaison with corporate customers, clearly explaining technical processes and security benefits.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to solve complex security problems and evaluate the efficiency of existing controls.

Team Collaboration: A collaborative mindset focused on achieving team-wide results and supporting cross-departmental projects.

Vulnerability Scanning Solutions: Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions. Proficiency with antivirus and security software.
