Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Technical Team Leader to lead our dynamic cybersecurity engineering and operations team. As a key player in our system integration projects, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions for our diverse clientele across Egypt and the region. You will blend deep technical expertise with leadership to ensure the delivery of secure, resilient, and compliant IT/OT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Solution Design:

• Lead the technical design and architecture of comprehensive cybersecurity solutions, integrating best-of-breed technologies (e.g., Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, XDR, NAC, IAM, PAM, WAF, DNS Security, DLP, DRM, SASE/ZTNA, OT/IOT Security…).
• Act as the highest level of technical escalation for complex security incidents and challenges.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, reference architectures, and deployment blueprints for recurring projects.
• Conduct advanced security assessments (e.g., architecture reviews, gap analyses) for client environments.
• Stay ahead of the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques relevant to the Egyptian and MENA market.

Project Delivery & Team Management:

• Plan, assign, and oversee the execution of cybersecurity implementation and integration projects.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and technical deliverables to ensure quality and profitability.
• Mentor, coach, and develop a team of cybersecurity engineers and analysts.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and technical excellence within the team.
• Conduct performance reviews and support career development paths for team members.

Client Engagement & Pre-Sales Support:

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into security requirements.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Presales teams to scope new opportunities, design proposals, and deliver compelling technical presentations.
• Lead proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations and workshops for potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client technical stakeholders.

Operational Excellence & Compliance:

• Oversee the operational health of managed security services (if offered) and ensure SLAs are met.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of internal security policies and procedures.
• Ensure all delivered solutions adhere to relevant industry standards and local Egyptian regulations (e.g., Egyptian Data Protection Law, NTRA regulations, sector-specific guidelines).
• Drive automation and process improvement within the team's workflows.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or team lead role, preferably within a system integrator, consulting firm.
• Deep knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and security infrastructure.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions from leading vendors (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, ThreatQ, Splunk, Trellix, CrowdStrike).
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM), endpoint security, and data protection.
• Knowledge of frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Client-facing experience with a focus on building trust and delivering value
