The focus of the Cycle Counter is to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Monitors and controls inventory accuracy.
- Maintains material and product identification in assigned locations.
- Research inventory discrepancies and the ability to reconcile them.
- Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipts.
- Helps with completing physical inventories/cycle count, and random audits/reconciliation as needed.
- Resolves inventory issues in a timely manner.
- Documents damaged product as required.
- Performs all duties according to established safety, quality, and efficiency procedures; and maintains work areas in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Follow all safety policies, protocols, procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Attention to detail.
- Forklift certified.
- 6 – 12 months’ experience in a production environment preferred.
- Basic English reading/writing skills required.
- Work experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Willing to work overtime, longer days, and some weekends as needed.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per day (heavy loads must be team lifted)
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Ability to adapt to and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to hear and see.
- Willingness to help in other areas.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), preferred.
- Lifting to 50 lbs. (heavy loads must be team lifted)
- Standing up to 10 hours per shift.
- Walking as needed during a 10-hour shift.
- Bending and twisting frequently.
- Heavy gripping with hands frequently.
- Frequent lifting from floor to waist.
- Frequent lifting from waist to shoulder.
- Must be able to hear and see.
Work is performed in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Area may be hot, cold, humid, noisy, dusty industrial environment, and around dust, and other substances.
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or work experience
- Years of Experience: 6-12 months preferred.
