Dance Teacher

A Dance Teacher is responsible for teaching students various dance forms, fostering physical fitness, rhythm, coordination, and self-expression through movement. The role involves planning and conducting structured dance lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels, covering styles such as classical, contemporary, folk, Western, or Bollywood, depending on the school’s curriculum and cultural focus. A Dance Teacher choreographs performances for school functions, cultural programs, competitions, and special events, while also encouraging creativity and confidence in students. They are expected to maintain discipline during practice sessions, ensure student safety, and create an inclusive and motivating environment that supports artistic growth. The ideal candidate should hold a degree or diploma in dance or performing arts, have strong technical expertise in one or more dance styles, and possess excellent communication, instructional, and classroom management skills. A genuine passion for dance and the ability to inspire and engage young learners is key to success in this role.
