Dance Teacher Creative Movement, Ballet, Hip Hop - Ages 3 to 5

CANVAS Dance Arts is seeking a passionate and responsible teacher, comfortable with children! We are currently hiring for part-time teaching positions for preschool age classes from Fall 2025 to Spring/Summer 2026. To be considered, please email CDAbackstage@gmail.com. Candidates will have the opportunity to train with the co-owners and then take on their own classes

About us

CANVAS Dance Arts (CDA) is a recreational dance studio in San Francisco offering Ballet, Hip Hop, and Jazz to students ages 3 - teen. The mission of CDA is to provide an inclusive, positive environment that helps students grow and develop a passion for the performing arts. Most classes conclude with an in-studio showing or stage performance.

Open shifts are listed below:

Wednesday 1:45 - 4:20 pm (Creative Movement) 4:30 - 5:15 pm (Hip Hop Beginning)

Thursday multiple openings (Creative Movement)

Additional openings avaialble January - May 2026 and Summer 2026

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or in performing arts
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred
• Dance teaching training is provided
• Let us know if you're most comfortable with Ballet, Hip Hop, or multiple genres of dance!

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
