Job Summary:
The Category Manager – Electronics will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and strategic development across the Electronics vertical. This role requires end-to-end category ownership: assortment expansion, pricing, campaigns, seller management, and commercial planning. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, vendor management experience, and the ability to execute data-driven strategies in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own and drive Electronics category P&L (Mobiles, Laptops, TVs, Home Appliances).
2. Develop category strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
3. Identify assortment gaps and onboard new brands/sellers.
4. Negotiate pricing, promotions, and exclusives with partners.
5. Monitor sales performance, traffic, and conversion to optimize growth levers.
6. Partner with Marketing & Operations to execute campaigns (11.11, 12.12, 9.9, etc.).
7. Lead seller enablement on platform tools (DMS, vouchers, free shipping, campaign adoption).
8. Guide and mentor junior team members within Electronics category.
Position Requirement
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Master’s preferred.
2. 5+ years of category management, business development, or commercial strategy experience (electronics/FMCG/e-commerce preferred).
3. Strong analytical and negotiation skills with proven track record of driving revenue growth.
4. Ability to build and maintain strong vendor and seller relationships.
5. Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in high-growth and dynamic environments.
