Daraz-UGC Specialist-PK

We are looking for a data-driven UGC Specialist to govern content security and user-generated ecosystems for our international platform’s integrity. You will be responsible for protecting the platform by identifying risks, designing and implementing data-backed governance strategies, and ensuring all user content complies with legal, social, and community standards. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, policy enforcement, and cross-functional collaboration within the Risk & Security domain. Key Responsibilities: - Content Governance & Moderation: Review, monitor, and moderate user-generated content (UGC)—including reviews, ratings, and forum posts—to ensure compliance with content, community, and legal guidelines. Investigate and resolve user escalations related to policy-violating content. - Risk Strategy & Data Analysis: Identify emerging risks and define detection logic by analyzing regulatory requirements, public sentiment trends, and data insights. Establish clear governance objectives, design key data metrics, and own the achievement of goals. - System Configuration & Optimization: Optimize rule-based moderation systems (keywords, patterns, automation) to detect and prevent non-compliant content. Analyze moderation trends to identify gaps, abuse patterns, or false positives and drive system improvements. - Reporting & Framework Building: Track and report KPIs related to content accuracy, compliance rate, and turnaround time. Leverage historical data (using SQL, Excel) to build and maintain a comprehensive strategy framework covering pre-risk prevention, real-time monitoring, and post-incident response.

- 4+ years of total professional experience in roles combining; data analysis, risk management, and digital content governance (e.g., Content Risk Analysis, E-commerce data management, Platform Operations, Risk & Secuirty). - E-commerce based company experience - Master's degree in Business or a related field. - Strong verbal and written English proficiency. - SQL and Excel are required for data querying, analysis, and dashboard creation. Proven ability to derive insights from large datasets and translate findings into actionable strategies. - Experience with improving automated moderation tools and rule-based systems. - Self-driven, with high attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication skills; experience collaborating with cross-functional global teams.
