Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related subject (will need to be attested)

Minimum Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Data Administration role in the region.
  • Previous experience in the Education sector is preferable.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • Fluent English communication skills, written and oral
  • Advanced Excel abilities (E.g. organizing and formatting raw date, table creation, index, match, vlookup, vba, macros, dashboard creating)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent office management skills
  • Proficient in operating PC, Facsimile, Photocopier, Telex, and various office machines, including working knowledge of prevailing popular application software and spreadsheets.
  • A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life Multitasking
  • Prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines and Multitasking
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the school information system including PowerSchool, SalesForce, Live Aldar etc.
  • Provide training for staff on the school information system.
  • Update class locations, cover requirements, staff absence,
  • Update class lists for option changes and new students.
  • Maintain option lists of new students and support with timetable allocation.
  • Upload ESIS data entries on a termly basis.
  • Managing internal systems including adding cover, removing/adding teachers, archiving and deleting courses when not in use and moving students between courses.
  • Managing online resources applications.
  • Communicate the internal and/or external analysis of achievement data (figures/targets) on a termly basis to SLT, Head of Departments and Grade Level Leaders.
  • Collate all data on students’ academic achievements, attendance and emotional well-being to create the planning for impact sheets and upload into the school information system.
  • Attendance data to ESIS and ALDAR.
  • BlueSKy administration e.g. creating and pulling off reports, updating staff information, liaising with staff on updates
  • Support SLT and Head of Departments with exams timetables
  • Support with GL assessment administration, MAP test, ABT. Update testwise and ensure accurate student information.
