Data Analyst

Role overview:

Blue Spire is looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will

play a key role in ensuring the authenticity, integrity, and usability of data from diverse sources.

You will work closely with data scientists and business stakeholders to transform raw data into

actionable insights, support solution implementation, and drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data profiling across data lakes, files, and other data sources to ensure quality

and usability.

• Ensure data authenticity, integrity, and reliability across all datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide guidance on solution implementation.
• Collect and integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and third party platforms.
• Clean, pre process, and standardize data, handling missing values, correcting errors, and ensuring consistency.
• Structure and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis and modeling.
• Prepare datasets for modeling, including splitting into training and testing sets and maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data distributions, correlations, and anomalies.
• Apply statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or MBA in Data Science / Business Analytics.
• Strong understanding of data profiling, cleaning, and preparation techniques.
• 6+ years of proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and preprocessing.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib, seaborn).
• Knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning basics is an advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with ability to collaborate across teams.
