You will transform complex data sets into clear reports, dashboards, and insights that directly impact patient care, optimize workflows, and demonstrate the value of our care coordination programs.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a mission-driven and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing Care Coordination team. In this role, you will be the key link between raw healthcare data and actionable strategies for our care managers. You will transform complex data sets into clear reports, dashboards, and insights that directly impact patient care, optimize workflows, and demonstrate the value of our care coordination programs. The ideal candidate is proficient in data analysis tools, understands healthcare processes, and is passionate about improving the patient’s experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Extraction & Management: Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), claims data, patient registries, and internal care management platforms.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and visualizations (using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for care coordination.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, such as patient enrollment, engagement rates, medication adherence, hospital readmission rates, ED utilization, and gaps in care closure.
  • Identify Trends & Insights: Proactively analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving care delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • Support Clinical Staff: Provide care coordinators with patient-level data and lists (e.g., patients overdue for appointments, high-risk patient cohorts) to enable proactive interventions.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer specific business questions from leadership and clinical teams to support strategic decision-making.
  • Data Integrity: Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure all data handling and reporting adhere to HIPAA and other relevant healthcare data privacy and security regulations.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably within a healthcare setting (e.g., hospital, health system, payer, population health company).

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.

Skills & Competencies:

  • High proficiency in writing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, VLOOKUPs).
  • Solid understanding of healthcare data standards, terminologies, and claims data (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: According to the skill set.
  • Working Days: Monday - Friday
  • Job Timings: 6 PM – 3 AM PKT
