Data Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role requires proficiency in data analysis, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. The Data Analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure data-driven strategies are implemented successfully.

Duties

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize data effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Design and implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python and R for advanced data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements through data-driven decision-making.
• Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) by providing insights during project management phases.
• Create and maintain database designs using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other database management systems.
• Document processes and workflows using tools like Visio to facilitate understanding across teams.
• Support the integration of linked data sources for comprehensive analysis.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis tasks.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Knowledge of programming languages including Python, R, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly.
• Experience in business analysis with a focus on identifying actionable insights from data.
• Understanding of database design principles and best practices.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60,825.94 - $73,252.74 per year
