POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for building interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI, working with data stored in SQL tables, and performing in-depth data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a business-oriented mindset, and the ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.

Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from various relational databases.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive business insights.

Provide clear and concise data interpretations, summaries, and recommendations to business users.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports and analyses.

Automate recurring reports and data processes where possible to improve efficiency.

Work cross-functionally with IT, operations, finance, and other teams to support data-driven initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.

Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and visual design.

Solid experience with SQL (writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable business insights.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources is a plus.
PREFEERED
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, SSRS) is a plus.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Familiarity with Python, R, or other statistical tools is a bonus.
EQUIPMENT & APPLICATIONS /WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting for Extended Periods – Working at a desk for long hours while using a computer or handling paperwork.

Typing and Computer Use – Frequent use of a keyboard and mouse for emails, reports, and data entry.

Reading and Reviewing Documents – Reviewing paperwork, invoices, schedules, and reports, which may cause occasional eye strain.

Repetitive Hand and Finger Movements – Engaging in repetitive tasks such as typing, writing, and using office equipment (printers, fax machines, telephones).

Light Lifting and Carrying – Moving office supplies, files, or small packages, typically weighing up to 10-25 lbs.

Walking and Standing – Moving within the office, attending meetings, or filing paperwork.

Reaching and Bending – Occasionally stretching, bending, or reaching for office supplies, filing cabinets, or shelves.

Talking and Hearing – Frequent verbal communication in person, over the phone, and in virtual meetings.
Pay range: $30-$40/hr. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
