We are looking for a sharp and analytical Data Analyst to join our team in Islamabad. In this role, you will be the bridge between raw data and actionable business strategy. You will be responsible for analyzing user behavior, tracking digital performance, and providing the insights needed to optimize our online presence and drive growth. Your expertise in web analytics will be crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources, including SQL databases, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of user behavior, customer journeys, and conversion funnels to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards and reports in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio to provide stakeholders with real-time insights.
  • Manage, configure, and analyze data in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track website performance, marketing campaign effectiveness, and user engagement.
  • Write efficient and complex SQL queries to manipulate and analyze large datasets for deeper analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to define digital KPIs, track performance, and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support A/B testing and other experimentation initiatives by providing the analytical framework and measuring results.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in a data analyst or digital analytics role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) is essential, including configuration, event tracking, and report generation.
  • Experience with at least one data visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Google Analytics Certification.
  • Programming experience for data analysis with Python (especially Pandas, NumPy) or R.
  • Experience with other digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, Google Search Console).
  • Understanding of basic statistical concepts (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing).
  • Prior experience in the [Your Industry, e.g., E-commerce, Digital Marketing] sector.
