About the Role
The Data Analyst will play a key role by leveraging data to provide insights to the management and executive teams. The Data Analyst’s primary focus will be creating and maintaining data sets, dashboards, and reporting to support and inform company strategic objectives. Successful candidates will have a passion for working with data sets to satisfy curiosity. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, have a curious mind, and an attention to detail.

The Data Analyst position reports to the Director, Business Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Gathering data from various sources, cleaning and preprocessing it for accuracy, and managing databases
  • Drive continuous improvement by supporting initiatives, taking complete ownership in areas of key responsibilities, and meeting various department goals and objectives
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards in various systems including Domo, Salesforce, and Sage Intacct
  • Maintain a data dictionary
  • Ensure the consistent application of data dictionary in reporting
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis to answer questions
  • Work with functional business areas to operationalize analyses in systems
  • Assist in the completion of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting to the Board of Directors
  • Work with the strategic finance team to translate business analytics into financial language for financial models
  • Conducts anomaly reporting to identify bugs and reporting issues. Assists in debugging and solutioning reporting
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned
  • Execute monthly reporting needs for Sales Leadership to inform them of any impact conflicts related to ROEs have on their specific region (e.g., # of active cases, NCVI impacted by ROEs, Top ROE cases, etc.).
  • Build a reporting dashboard (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to provide real-time ROE case insights for ROE Strategy, TP&A, Sales, and Team NCVI.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses to quantify impact of ROEs on a MoM, YoY basis (e.g., # of cases, NCVI impacted, etc.).
Key Qualifications of the Role
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data cleansing, data visualization, and quantitative roles or related position
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, or related field
  • Data-driven and strategic thinking with good problem-solving, time management and communications skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when performing analyses.
  • Proficient in Excel to perform various reporting requirements or ad hoc analyses
  • Knowledge of Domo and Salesforce CRM is a must
  • Exceptional ability to fluently discuss and explain quantitative data
  • High attention to detail and visualizations
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker with prior experience collaborating across multiple departments
  • Highly organized, structured & process-oriented, with great attention to detail, accuracy & consistency
  • A curious mind with a passion for problem-solving
  • Ability to collaborate with high level teams globally and across multiple business units as a thought partner
  • Teachable; ability to embrace best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement
  • Detail oriented with strict attention and appreciation for deadlines

Watermark is committed to fair and equitable pay practices for all qualified candidates. The pay range for this role is $60K - $100K and varies based on several factors including geographical location, level of experience related to the role, education/ licensure/certificates of the individual filling the role and other business and operational considerations.
