The Databricks expert builds scalable data pipelines, optimizing workloads, and enabling advanced analytics across cloud platforms. They collaborate with data scientists and engineers to transform raw data into actionable insights, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and seamless integration within the Databricks environment. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect and organize data from internal and external sources

Clean and preprocess datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency

Perform statistical analysis and identify patterns or trends

Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement

Support data-driven decision-making through clear communication of findings.
SUCCESS FACTORS

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis languages

Experience with data visualization tools and reporting platforms

Strong understanding of statistics, data modeling, and analytical techniques

Familiarity with databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data analyst.

Strong knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.

Familiarity with backup and recovery tools, performance tuning, and monitoring utilities

Understanding of data privacy and protection regulations
